At Let's Do School, our live classes are intentionally small so every child has the opportunity to ask questions, explore ideas, and build confidence in a welcoming home-based classroom.
We believe learning happens best when ideas are connected, not isolated — when a lesson builds on the one before it, and a concept becomes real once a child can apply it in their own way. Rather than memorizing information in disconnected pieces, children develop the habits that lead to lifelong learning: careful observation, thoughtful discussion, creativity, and genuine understanding.
Located in Terrell, Texas, our homeschool enrichment classes are designed to complement the learning already happening at home. Whether your child is taking their first steps into reading, discovering how artists learn to see the world, or exploring the stories and cultures that have shaped human history, each class is built around the same belief:

Little Readers Learning Pod
For young children around the ages of 5 to 8
Meets every Monday and Tuesday - Starting September 14th, 2026
10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.
Founding Family Tuition: $195 until 2027.
Regular Tuition: $225 per month.
$50 One-Time Registration Fee

The Little Readers Learning Pod is a small-group class designed to help
young and reluctant children build a joyful foundation for reading and writing.
A small-group class that brings the language arts portion of kindergarten — reading, writing, and phonics — into a warm, home-based setting. Each lesson builds on the one before it, connecting stories, songs, and hands-on activities into real literacy skills.
Whether your child is just beginning to read or would benefit from a little extra support, this is a place where curiosity is welcomed, and learning becomes an adventure.
Young Artists: The Language of Art
Recommended ages are 5 to 8
Meets every Friday - Starting September 18th, 2026
1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
More classes will become available as they fill up.
Artistic experience is not required.
Tuition: $100 per month.

Most children's art classes begin with a project.
This class begins with the building blocks that make art possible.
Young artists learn how line, shape, color, texture, pattern, and other elements come together to create artwork. Through stories, demonstrations, guided practice, and creative projects, students begin building the skills and vocabulary artists use every day.
Instead of simply following directions to make the same picture, students learn why artists make certain choices and how they can use those ideas to create artwork that is uniquely their own. As they practice new skills and explore creative ideas, children begin to see themselves as artists.
Every artist starts somewhere. This class helps young artists build the foundation to grow.
Art Fundamentals
Recommended ages are 9 to13
Meets every Friday - Starting September 18th, 2026

Most children's art classes begin by teaching what to draw.
This class begins by teaching children how artists learn to see.
Instead of focusing on creating the "perfect" drawing, students learn to notice shapes, relationships, light, color, texture, pattern, and the countless details that most people overlook. Then they create their own pieces of art based on these skills. As students learn to observe the world differently, art becomes less about talent and more about understanding what they see and their own artistic choices.
Once you learn to see like an artist, you never look at the world quite the same way again.
*This class has been recommended by parents for reluctant artists, too!*
Students who don't naturally like art have really enjoyed this class.
Myths & Cultures
A History & Anthropology Course
Recommended Ages: 11 to 18
Meets every Monday - Starting September 14th, 2026
1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Tuition: $125 per month.

Homeschoolers: Earn high school credit while exploring mythology, anthropology, archaeology,
and the foundations of civilization in a small discussion-based class.
Long before history books were written, people told stories...
...about creation, heroes, monsters, and the mysteries of the world. This is a secular, discussion-based seminar — closer in feel to a lively book club than a lecture hall — that uses stories as a starting point for introspection, cultural and global awareness, and learning to think like a historian and anthropologist.
Through weekly seminar meetings, independent coursework, research assignments, and creative culminating projects, this course can be used as a high school humanities/social studies credit according to each family's homeschool requirements.

Little Readers Learning Pod
The Little Readers Learning Pod is a small-group enrichment class designed to help young learners build a joyful foundation for reading.
Through stories, nursery rhymes, songs, movement, games, hands-on activities, and meaningful conversation, children develop the skills that support lifelong literacy. Rather than rushing through worksheets or memorizing isolated facts, we focus on helping children understand language, notice patterns, ask questions, and discover the excitement of learning.
Each lesson is thoughtfully connected, allowing reading, writing, science, art, and social development to grow naturally alongside one another. Children are encouraged to move, create, explore, and think as they build confidence in a warm, home-based classroom designed specifically for young learners.
